The Union Nationale des Syndicats Professionnels Régionaux d'Entreprises de Construction et d'Entretien des Réseaux Secs (SNER) is a national professional union representing companies involved in the construction and maintenance of dry networks across France. This encompasses essential infrastructure such as electricity, gas, public lighting, telecommunications, and very high-speed broadband networks. SNER, along with its regional and interregional syndicates (SRER and SIRER), primarily focuses its actions on behalf of its members' clients, ensuring professional standards and representation within the industry.

The union plays a vital role in the French energy and infrastructure sectors by engaging with key stakeholders and advocating for critical initiatives. For instance, SNER actively supports the Schéma de Développement du Réseau (SDDR) by RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité, aiming to enhance the security and upgrade the French energy grid, especially for integrating renewable energy sources. It also collaborates with entities like Enedis to champion health, safety, and environmental standards on construction sites, evidenced by the signing of comprehensive charters.

Beyond advocacy and standards, SNER contributes to workforce development by promoting careers within the electrical network sector. This includes highlighting various professions like network assemblers, maintenance technicians, and project managers, and outlining relevant training pathways.
