Acceptance

By accessing Bywatts (bywatts.pro) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Bywatts is

Bywatts is a free, publicly accessible database and interactive map of US energy infrastructure — solar companies, installers, power plants, substations, transmission lines, and data centers — operated by Sunhub. It is provided for general information and research. No account or payment is required.

Data accuracy disclaimer

The information is aggregated from public sources (including HIFLD, the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and PeeringDB) and curated industry data. It is provided “as is” and “as available.” It may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date records, and geolocation is approximate. Nothing here is professional, legal, financial, engineering, or investment advice. Verify independently before relying on any record for a decision.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site unlawfully or to infringe others' rights;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security of the site or its APIs;
  • scrape or bulk-download the content at a scale or manner that degrades the service, or to republish the compiled database wholesale as your own; or
  • misrepresent the source of the data.

Reasonable, considerate automated access to public pages is fine; abusive access is not.

Intellectual property

The design, layout, original text, and the selection and arrangement of the database are © Sunhub. The underlying facts and public-source records are subject to their own licenses and are not owned by us. Company names and marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance in the directory does not imply endorsement.

Third-party data and links

The site links to and displays third-party information and loads third-party services (see the Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites and services.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunhub disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the site and its data, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
