AP Renewables Inc. (APRI) is a leading producer of geothermal energy in the Philippines, specializing in delivering clean and renewable baseload power. The company operates two significant geothermal facilities: one in Tiwi, Albay, and another spanning areas of Bay and Calauan, Laguna, and Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

These facilities, acquired from the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp (PSALM) in 2009, contribute a total attributable net sellable capacity of 192 MW to the national grid. APRI is dedicated to continuous improvement in its geothermal plant operations, aiming to mitigate the environmental impact of power generation.

Its MakBan Geothermal Power Plant, commissioned in 1979, is a crucial indigenous baseload plant in Luzon, known for its grid stability and availability, featuring 12 generating units including a binary plant. The Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant, also commissioned in 1979, holds historical significance as the first and oldest geothermal power plant in the Philippines, housing four generating units.

APRI's commitment extends to operational efficiency through initiatives like the PAARP Online Access system, which enhances operator response to plant conditions, and community engagement through programs like HEARTBEATS, fostering employee participation in CSR activities.
