ACL Cables PLC is a pioneering and dominant manufacturer in the Sri Lankan cable industry, established in 1962. As the largest cable manufacturer in the country, the company commands a significant market share, producing the widest array of cables. ACL Cables serves a broad spectrum of clients, including major factories, hotels, commercial buildings, and warehouses, and is a key supplier for Duty Free projects. Its B2B division, ACL Projects, caters to public and private sector infrastructure development, with notable customers like the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Lanka Electricity Company (LECO).

The company's extensive product portfolio encompasses building wires, various types of armoured and unarmoured cables with copper and aluminum conductors, control cables, and a comprehensive range of overhead conductors including all aluminum, all aluminum alloy, and aluminum conductors steel reinforced. Additionally, ACL offers aerial bundled conductors, service wires, telecommunication cables, flexible cables, auto cables, and specialized cables such as Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF)/Fire Retardant Low Smoke (FRLS) cables, fire-resistant cables for circuit integrity, instrumentation cables, and concentric cables. Through its subsidiary, Cable Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, ACL also manufactures TUV-certified solar cables.
