Arcadia eFuels is dedicated to producing the world’s future fuels to protect our environment and power our world. The company aims to create net zero carbon fuels that utilize existing infrastructure and work in existing engines, leveraging proven technology in a novel way to meet market demand. They plan to build multiple plants, each producing 80,000 tons (100 million liters or 28 million gallons) of eFuels per year, specifically eDiesel and electro sustainable aviation fuel (eSAF) for the long-haul transportation sector. Their process involves using renewable electricity to make green hydrogen, combining it with carbon dioxide from direct air capture and/or biogenic sources to produce syngas, which is then processed into eFuels using commercially proven Gas to Liquids technology.
