Argeo ASA was established in 2017 by an experienced team of professionals, initially focusing on developing its Digital Oceans Space concept and advanced solutions for data acquisition, processing, and modeling. The company specialized in providing robotized solutions designed to enhance efficiency and reduce costs for clients within subsea and marine operations. Early successes included projects in aquaculture and infrastructure, with strong client feedback.

Argeo ASA expanded its operational scope to target large markets, including oil & gas, offshore wind, and marine minerals, in addition to its existing business. The company offered a comprehensive suite of services and proprietary sensor technologies, such as Argeo LISTEN, Argeo WHISPER, and Argeo SCOPE. Its asset portfolio included advanced Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), such as Hugin Superior and Hugin 6000, which were deployed globally in challenging environments like West Africa, the Indian Ocean, offshore California, the Caribbean, and the Northern Atlantic Ocean, providing integrated services with proven multipurpose vessels.

Bankruptcy Information

Reference is made to the stock exchange notices by Argeo ASA regarding the Company’s resolution to file for bankruptcy for Argeo ASA and its subsidiaries, Argeo Survey AS, Argeo Robotics AS, and Argeo Multiclient AS. Asker og Bærum tingrett officially opened bankruptcy proceedings for these entities on July 24, 2025. All inquiries regarding the bankruptcies should be directed to the trustee of the estates, attorney Andreas S. Christensen, via e-mail at [email protected]. Preliminary reports for the bankruptcy estates are available in Norwegian from the district court.
