Battery Cluster Portugal is an organization dedicated to strengthening the competitiveness of the Portuguese industrial value chain and innovation ecosystem in batteries and energy storage technologies. It aims to develop and transfer new sustainable and disruptive technologies to the global market, positioning Portugal as a reference for innovation in batteries. The cluster builds, energizes, and leads an ecosystem of academic, technological institutions, industries, and associations to create synergies, promote the development of new battery and energy storage technologies with a lower environmental footprint, greater sustainability, and optimized performance across various sectors like mobility, stationary storage, and consumer electronics. It also supports the national strategy for a sustainable energy transition.
