CWP Global is a prominent renewable energy developer operating across five continents, dedicated to providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future. Founded in 2007, the company initially established its presence as a key wind farm developer in Southeast Europe, notably delivering Serbia’s first wind farm, Čibuk 1 (158 MW), and Europe’s largest onshore wind farm, Fantanele-Cogealac (600 MW). This foundational success led to an expansion into Australia as CWP Renewables, where it developed over 1.5 GW of projects before its significant acquisition by Squadron Energy for $4 billion in 2022.

Today, CWP Global operates through two major business units: CWP Europe and CWP Terra. CWP Europe is a leading developer of utility-scale, grid-connected wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Southeast Europe, actively pursuing a pipeline exceeding 7 GW across 10 countries. This unit focuses on building out the region's largest grid-connected power portfolio. Concurrently, CWP Terra specializes in developing Power-to-X giga projects, with a strong emphasis on ultra-large-scale green hydrogen hubs across Australia, Africa, and South America. These pioneering projects represent a combined renewable energy capacity exceeding 200 GW and are designed to significantly contribute to the decarbonization of heavy industries such as steel and shipping.
