The European General Galvanizers Association (EGGA) is the preeminent industry organization dedicated to the general galvanizing sector across Europe. As a robust federation, EGGA unites national galvanizers associations from most European Union Member States, the UK, Norway, and Turkey, collectively representing approximately 600 general galvanizing plants. These plants, predominantly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), employ an estimated 40,000 people, underscoring the industry's significant economic footprint in the continent's industrial landscape.

EGGA serves a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to a broad spectrum of issues impacting the general galvanizing industry. Its focus areas encompass environmental, technical, and regulatory matters, ensuring the sector's interests are effectively represented at a European level.
