The Energy Innovation Hub, operating through its Energy Innovation Lab Program, is dedicated to propelling Lebanon towards a cleaner energy future. It achieves this by nurturing the creativity of local innovators and transforming their ideas into high-growth companies. These companies develop sustainable solutions in Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) technologies, aiming to increase their overall use and adoption, while also influencing energy consumption behaviors.

The program offers comprehensive startup support, including early funding of up to $25,000, bespoke mentorship and coaching from industry experts, and access to labs and equipment for testing and prototyping. It provides robust go-to-market strategies, investor readiness training, and facilitates community access to a network of investors, specialized industry partners, and academic institutions for ongoing feedback and validation.

With incubation journeys spanning 6 months and acceleration phases of 4 months, the Energy Innovation Hub guides early-stage startups from concept and validation through prototype development, pilot testing, and ultimately to market entry and scaling. The initiative focuses on critical energy sectors such as solar, wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, and other low-carbon energy solutions, empowering entrepreneurs to create jobs, power communities, and accelerate Lebanon's transition to a sustainable energy landscape.
