Overview of ENERPLAN

ENERPLAN stands as the representative union for the solar energy sector in France, actively promoting and supporting both thermal and photovoltaic solar power. Established in 1983, the organization is committed to advancing the French solar industry by representing and defending the interests of its diverse professional members. These members cover the entire solar value chain, including industrialists, integrators, distributors, design offices (BE), developers, operators, installers, energy providers, grid managers, as well as financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies.

Role and Activities

ENERPLAN plays a crucial role in animating, structuring, and developing the solar sector across France. The union actively engages in advocacy, promoting the benefits, potentials, and future prospects of solar energy, while addressing critical challenges like climate change through sustainable renewable solutions. It fosters a collaborative environment, facilitating knowledge exchange and industry-wide cooperation among its hundreds of members, which range from very small enterprises (TPE) to large corporations (grands groupes).

Through its activities, ENERPLAN provides a vital platform for industry stakeholders, publishes timely news and comprehensive reports, and organizes key events to drive innovation and expand the market for solar energy solutions.
