Eolmed is a pre-commercial floating wind farm project initiated by the French state via an ADEME call for projects in August 2015. Composed of 3 floating wind turbines designed to produce nearly 110 million kWh/year, the project has a dual objective: to validate the economic model for future commercial development and to contribute to the creation of a floating wind power industry in the Occitanie region. The project emphasizes maximizing local economic benefits by relying on industrial companies from the Occitanie Region.
