EVOLEN: A French Trade Association for the Energy Industry

EVOLEN is a prominent French trade association dedicated to supporting companies and professionals across the multi-energy landscape. The association plays a crucial role in assisting stakeholders within the oil & gas services (parapetrolier) and new energies sectors, fostering the development of responsible, sustainable, and economically viable solutions. Its overarching goal is to ensure universal access to energy while significantly contributing to the acceleration of the energy transition, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050.

At its core, EVOLEN operates through 20 specialized committees that provide strategic direction and facilitate collaborative efforts among its members. These committees are structured around four key areas of expertise: Energy Transition, Operational Efficiency, Business, and Talents & Digital. Within Energy Transition, topics include CO2 management, offshore wind, low-carbon hydrogen, biogas, energy efficiency for decarbonization, maritime hydrogen, and e-fuels. Operational Efficiency covers critical areas such as Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES), subsoil resources, industrial operations, multi-energy industrial platforms, plastic recycling, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Further expertise extends to Business aspects, including economics, management, and market conditions, as well as Talents & Digital, which focuses on human resources, gender diversity (Women Energy), youth development, industry-academia collaboration, and digital transformation. By actively engaging with these diverse and critical subjects, EVOLEN drives innovation, advocates for its members, and promotes professional development within the energy sector. The association also organizes a variety of events, including conferences, international missions, and trade shows, and provides valuable resources such as publications and career guidance to empower its community and advance the industry's objectives.
