GIMELEC: Unifying the Electronumerical Sector

GIMELEC is a prominent French professional association dedicated to bringing together the electronumerical sector. Representing a significant 90% of the electronumerical industry, GIMELEC encompasses 215 member companies, which collectively contribute to sustaining 130,000 jobs across the nation.

The association's core activities revolve around promoting crucial advancements across several key domains. These include fostering sustainable electrification initiatives, driving the development of high-performance and energy-efficient buildings, advocating for a sustainable and innovative industrial landscape, and advancing a robust and environmentally responsible digital ecosystem. GIMELEC's commitment extends to safeguarding the interests of its members, playing a vital role in national and international standardization efforts for electrotechnologies, engaging in public affairs to influence policy, and developing initiatives in vocational training and employment to cultivate future talent.

Furthermore, GIMELEC is a strong proponent of the circular economy within its represented sectors, encouraging sustainable practices and resource optimization.
