Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV) is dedicated to advancing innovation ecosystems and developing solutions to pressing global challenges. It serves as the primary conduit for translating and commercializing groundbreaking discoveries from Johns Hopkins University's esteemed research into accessible technologies, products, and services that benefit society.

JHTV fosters a dynamic environment for innovators, from aspiring researchers to seasoned faculty, by providing comprehensive support for the commercial translation of their discoveries. The organization facilitates productive collaborations among Johns Hopkins, government entities, and industry partners, leveraging the unique strengths of each sector to bring vital innovations to market. Since 2014, JHTV has been instrumental in ensuring that the university’s research excellence maximizes its impact, creating a pathway for academic advancements to reach communities locally and globally.

Through its extensive programs and services, JHTV offers critical resources such as incubator spaces, technology transfer processes, corporate partnerships, and various funding opportunities, including industry-sponsored research, translational funding, and startup funding. It also provides mentorship, cohort-based programs, and a commercialization academy to nurture new ventures and intellectual property. The extensive portfolio includes over 2,000 technologies available for licensing and has supported more than 130 commercial startups, which have collectively raised over $4.8 billion in venture funding, underscoring JHTV's significant role in driving innovation and economic growth.
