K-Electric (KE) stands as Pakistan's sole vertically integrated power utility, encompassing the entire spectrum of electricity services from generation to transmission and distribution. Established in 1913 as Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and privatized in 2005, KE is responsible for powering Karachi and its extensive outskirts, serving a vast territory of approximately 6,500 square kilometers. This expansive service area includes a metropolis of 20 million people, along with other key locations such as Uthal, Bela, Vinder, Gharo, Hub, and Dhabeji.
