Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is a premier applied science laboratory operating under the National Nuclear Security Administration, a semi-autonomous agency within the U.S. Department of Energy. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, LLNL is dedicated to strengthening national security by developing and applying cutting-edge science, technology, and engineering to address scientific issues of national importance.
