Beyond its significant recycling operations, Livium also develops and commercializes advanced technologies. This includes the LieNA® lithium extraction technology, which has progressed into a 50:50 joint venture with Mineral Resources, focusing on sustainable lithium production from overlooked waste or low-grade materials. Additionally, its subsidiary VSPC has pioneered the production of lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) and LMFP cathode powders, key materials for the rapidly growing battery market, distinguishing Livium as one of the few companies outside China capable of producing LFP using a patented, commercially verified process.
