A cornerstone of MGEN's commitment to sustainable development is the transformative MTerra Solar Project. This ambitious initiative, recognized as an Energy Project of National Significance by the Department of Energy and holding a Green Lane Certificate from the Board of Investments, is set to deliver 850 MW of clean energy to Meralco through a power supply agreement. The project, spanning 3,500 hectares across Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, features an impressive 3,500 MWp of solar capacity complemented by a 4,500 MWhr battery energy storage system, with phased delivery of 600 MW by 2026 and an additional 250 MW by 2027. Through these diverse investments and projects, MGEN is actively shaping the energy landscape of the Philippines and the broader region.
