In 2002, Qatar Investment and Project Development Company (QIPCO) acquired a majority stake, leading to MIDMAC becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of QIPCO by 2005. Under the QIPCO umbrella, MIDMAC leverages and contributes to the activities of its sister companies, which span real estate, oil & gas, trading & services, financial services, education, health, and specialized joint ventures.

As a Class A certified general contractor in Qatar, MIDMAC's extensive construction capabilities are underscored by over four decades of successful business operations and project experiences.
