Advanced Nuclear Technology for Sustainable Energy

Natura Resources is a leading innovator in advanced nuclear technology, primarily focused on the development and deployment of commercially viable liquid-fueled molten salt reactors (MSRs). The company is committed to addressing critical global demands for reliable energy, medical isotopes, and clean water by pioneering these next-generation nuclear solutions. Its core mission revolves around designing and deploying small-modular liquid-fueled molten salt reactors to power the sustainable energy revolution and provide a robust, 24/7 carbon-free energy backbone for modern cities and industries.

The company has established the Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing Research Alliance (NEXTRA), a groundbreaking partnership with prominent academic institutions including Abilene Christian University, The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, and Georgia Tech. This alliance is crucial for the design, construction, and licensing of the Molten Salt Research Reactor (MSRR), marking it as the first university research reactor of any kind in the U.S. in over three decades. The Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC) at Abilene Christian University, serving as the first advanced reactor demonstration facility outside of a national lab, is slated for the initial MSRR deployment by 2026.

Natura Resources is actively advancing its MSR technology through strategic collaborations and governmental support. It has secured an enriched molten salt allocation from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and is pursuing DOE authorization for its MSR-1 system. Industry partnerships include working with NOV for the deployment of gigawatts of SMRs in the early 2030s and with 3M to develop and qualify Lithium-7 isotopes and evaluate advanced materials for reactor designs. The company also collaborates with Texas Tech and ACU to integrate advanced reactor systems with desalination technology to address water challenges and with NGL Energy Partners for large-scale produced water treatment in the Permian Basin. Furthermore, Natura Resources has leased the Utah San Rafael Energy Lab (USREL) to accelerate commercial-stage MSR development. These efforts solidify Natura Resources' position as a pivotal player in America's advanced nuclear energy renaissance.
