Rank® specializes in the design and manufacturing of advanced Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems and High-Temperature Heat Pumps (HTHP), providing tailored solutions for industrial and energy sector needs. Their proprietary technology focuses on maximizing energy efficiency and minimizing environmental impact, supporting companies in their decarbonization efforts.

The company's comprehensive catalog of ORC systems, including LT, MT, HT, HTC, and MICRO series, is capable of generating 2 kWe to 270 kWe of net renewable electricity. These systems efficiently utilize heat sources ranging from 30 kWth to 2.7 MWth, with inlet temperatures between 90 °C and 180 °C. Beyond electricity generation, Rank®'s ORC systems can simultaneously produce up to 2.4 MWth of low-grade useful heat, typically from 50 °C to 80 °C, suitable for diverse applications such as cold production, heating, sanitary hot water, industrial processes, and drying.

Complementing their ORC offerings, Rank® provides High-Temperature Heat Pumps (HTHP) designed for heat revalorization. These HTHPs process heat sources from 60 kWth to 2 MWth, delivering high-temperature renewable heating between 100 °C and 150 °C with an impressive Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3 to 4. This makes them a highly energy-efficient alternative to fossil fuel burners, capable of producing both heat and cold with minimal electricity input.

With over a decade of experience, Rank® applies its technology across various sectors, including waste heat recovery in industries, engines, and waste burning, as well as renewable energy generation from biomass boilers, solar plants, and geothermal wells. Their solutions are particularly valuable for cogeneration and trigeneration systems, enabling the efficient utilization of waste and renewable heat sources to produce clean electrical power and useful heat, thereby enhancing economic and environmental benefits for their clients.
