Reefy is an innovative company dedicated to bridging the gap between engineering and ecology, focusing on nature-based solutions for coastal infrastructure and marine ecosystem restoration. Reefy partners with developers to design, implement, and monitor sustainable infrastructure projects. Their offerings include Biodiversity Impact Assessments, providing pre- and post-project evaluations to quantify ecological benefits, and Eco-Engineering Expertise, offering science-backed support during the design phase. A core product is their innovative, locally manufactured materials, such as the patented Reef Enhancing Breakwater (REB), a modular artificial reef designed to dissipate wave energy for coastal protection while simultaneously boosting marine biodiversity by providing complex habitats.

To ensure transparency and measurable impact, Reefy utilizes a holistic data approach through its BlueBioMetrics Dashboard, also referred to as BlueBiodex. This platform integrates satellite imagery, water quality data, eDNA analysis, and other environmental metrics to deliver real-time insights into ecosystem health. BlueBiodex supports ecosystem health monitoring, contextualizes findings, establishes ecological baselines, measures and visualizes impact, aids environmental planning, and guides resource optimization for projects in aquatic environments. Reefy's solutions are applied in diverse settings, including touristic beaches, dikes and rivers, offshore innovations, and ecosystem restoration initiatives, aiming to triple biodiversity and offer significant cost savings compared to conventional methods.
