Otary is a prominent Belgian consortium specialized in the development, financing, construction, and management of large-scale offshore wind farms. The company offers a comprehensive range of services throughout the entire lifecycle of offshore wind projects, positioning itself as a key partner in Belgium's renewable energy sector.

A flagship project, Seamade, is a 487.2 MW offshore wind concession situated in the Belgian North Sea, resulting from the merger of the Mermaid and Seastar concession zones. This significant power station comprises 58 SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) turbines, designed to supply renewable energy to approximately 485,000 households and prevent 500,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. With construction initiated in 2019 and full operational status achieved in 2020, Seamade significantly contributes to Belgium's 2020 climate objectives.

Beyond Seamade, Otary has also played a crucial role in transforming the Belgian North Sea by developing the Rentel, Seastar, and Mermaid concessions into an 800 MW offshore power plant. Through these strategic initiatives, Otary demonstrates its profound expertise and commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and strengthening the national power grid with clean, wind-generated electricity. The consortium leverages the combined knowledge and competence of its shareholders to effectively execute complex offshore wind developments.
