The proprietary Acoustic Wave Technique involves custom-fabricated, fingernail-sized piezoelectric devices mounted on a thin flexible circuit. This circuit is integrated into the battery module during manufacturing. Once activated, the acoustic waves generated by the device induce homogeneity of lithium-ions within the battery. This process is crucial as it minimizes lithium plating and limits dendritic formation, addressing key degradation mechanisms and substantially improving the battery's performance envelope.
