Project Scope and Impact SSSPL has established a significant footprint in the Indian solar market, with over 500 MW of projects currently underway and 42 MW of high-quality assets already operational for sovereign-rated government clients. The company operates primarily under the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model, where it finances, installs, and operates solar energy systems, allowing customers to purchase the generated electricity at an agreed-upon rate, typically for a 25-year term. This approach not only empowers businesses and governments with sustainable energy but also contributes substantially to environmental conservation, with projects projected to offset 3.5 lakh tons of carbon annually, equivalent to planting 15 million trees.

Core Services and Expertise SSSPL's role in project development is extensive, covering critical aspects such as signing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), acquiring necessary land, raising bank debt to cover up to 75% of project costs, and executing detailed engineering, procurement, and installation. Furthermore, the company is responsible for the security, operation, and maintenance of projects throughout the PPA duration, ensuring timely payment collection and assisting investors with project exits and liquidation of investments post-lock-in periods. While currently focused on large-scale commercial and industrial projects, SSSPL is continuously exploring new opportunities within the renewable energy sector.
