Surveyors Australia is the national industry association representing surveyors and surveying businesses across Australia, primarily focusing on small and medium enterprises. As the peak industry body, it represents over 600 surveying businesses and 5,000 professionals.

The association's core mission is to strengthen the commercial sustainability, capability, and leadership of small surveying businesses, which are vital to Australia's housing, infrastructure, and construction sectors. They actively advocate on critical issues impacting small business viability, including workforce shortages, skills development, productivity, and regulatory burdens.

Surveyors Australia provides comprehensive education and training, ensuring the longevity of the surveying profession. A key initiative is their Business Academy, tailored for small business owners, offering practical education in strategy, leadership, financial management, productivity, and sales. Furthermore, the association engages in national advocacy, building relationships with industry groups, ministers, and government agencies to be a unified voice for surveyors. They also work towards a sustainable future for the industry by strengthening relationships with surveying bodies both domestically and internationally, aiming to unite the profession. The association also publishes 'The Surveyor', a premier publication covering business, governance, employment, and industry-related articles.
