Furthermore, these environmentally conscious batteries require no critical raw materials for production, boasting a significantly improved ecological footprint compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries. Their exceptional durability ensures a lifespan up to ten times longer than traditional counterparts, leading to substantial long-term cost savings and resource conservation. Swiss Clean Battery primarily focuses on stationary energy storage applications, specifically catering to home storage and industrial buffer solutions. The modular battery design incorporates prismatically shaped cells enclosed in robust stainless steel casings, with each module delivering approximately 1.3 kWh. Industrial storage units are configured for 200 kWh, with the capability to scale; for instance, ten such units can provide a 2 MWh capacity, fitting within the footprint of an overseas container. For residential needs, home storage units are rated at 10 kWh, offering the flexibility to combine up to three units to meet higher household energy demands. These innovative solutions are crucial for effectively managing fluctuating renewable energy generation, minimizing the need for extensive grid expansion for charging infrastructure, guaranteeing an uninterrupted power supply for critical sectors like data centers and energy-intensive industries, and enhancing overall grid stability through effective load peak reduction and associated energy cost savings.
