Frelp By Sun, a pioneering project by TIALPI S.R.L., specializes in the industrial recovery and valorization of end-of-life photovoltaic panels, addressing the critical challenge of solar waste management within the green economy. The company's innovative and patented technology facilitates a high recovery rate, achieving up to 98% recovery and 47% valorization of panel components, with an ambitious goal to reach 100% valorization.

The core of the Frelp By Sun process involves a patented device for detaching glass from the silicon sandwich, enabling the recovery of high-quality extra-clear glass (60%), aluminum (15%), secondary quality glass (5%), multilayer plastic (10%), silicon wafers (7%), and electrical cables (1%). This comprehensive approach ensures that materials typically sent to landfills are re-introduced into the economic cycle as secondary raw materials or certified 'END OF WASTE' products, significantly reducing the demand for virgin resources.

Operating with a 'zero energy impact,' the Mottalciata plant is powered entirely by photovoltaic panels installed on its roof, further contributing to environmental sustainability. The technology yields substantial positive effects, including reduced consumption of mineral raw materials, lower CO2 emissions during the production of new glass and aluminum, and the establishment of a robust circular economy model for the solar industry. Future project phases (3 and 4) aim to further enhance the valorization of silicon and recover precious metals like silver and copper, showcasing a commitment to continuous innovation in sustainable resource management.

Currently, Frelp By Sun operates an industrial plant in Mottalciata, Italy, which also serves as a showroom to demonstrate the efficacy and potential of its advanced recycling technology to potential clients and industry partners.
