TOBIN is a well-established practice of Consulting Engineers with over 70 years of experience, specializing in conceptualizing and delivering projects in partnership with clients across Ireland. Employing over 170 highly qualified staff across five offices, TOBIN is dedicated to providing robust solutions that add significant value by deeply understanding client challenges and contributing to the delivery of their long-term strategic objectives. The firm operates as a multidisciplinary consultancy, with its principal focus segmented into four core divisions.

The Building & Infrastructure division offers comprehensive civil and structural engineering services, solid waste management, and extensive infrastructure development. This division serves a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, conservation, amenity, sports infrastructure, airport development, and also provides quantity surveying and refurbishment services. Concurrently, the Environment & Planning division provides expert solutions focused on enabling sustainable development. Its services include renewable energy project support, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), local authority and Strategic Infrastructure Development (S.I.D.) planning applications, waste management planning, environmental due diligence, and specialized ecological and hydrogeological assessments.

Further extending its capabilities, the Water & Utilities division leverages over seven decades of experience in areas such as Design Build projects, technical assurance, digital engineering, flood risk and dam management, asset strategy, and blue-green infrastructure, alongside hydraulic modeling. This ensures critical water and utility challenges are met with reliable and innovative solutions. Complementing these, the Roads & Transportation division delivers a full spectrum of engineering solutions for both urban and rural infrastructure projects, encompassing road safety audits, junction design, vehicle swept path analysis, planning advice, oral hearing support, and greenway and public realm design.
