Ventyr: Pioneering Offshore Wind in Norway

Ventyr is a strategic partnership formed by the combined expertise of Parkwind, Ingka Investments, and NorSea Group, poised to catalyze Norway's nascent offshore wind industry. This powerful alliance is dedicated to developing, owning, and operating Sørlige Nordsjø II (SNII), which is set to become Norway's inaugural large-scale offshore wind project. SNII is envisioned as a critical contributor to the nation's new power production landscape over the next decade and a foundational step towards realizing Norway's ambitious offshore wind energy goals.

Collaborative Development and Industry Leadership

The establishment of Norway's first large-scale offshore wind farm represents a significant pioneering endeavor. Ventyr emphasizes a collaborative and groundbreaking approach, working in close cooperation with governmental bodies and all relevant stakeholders to foster a new industrial sector within Norway. The partners bring a wealth of experience; Parkwind contributes deep expertise in offshore wind development and operation, exemplified by its involvement in projects such as Formosa 2 (Taiwan), Oriel Windfarm (Ireland), Nobelwind, and Belwind (both in Belgium).

Ingka Investments provides substantial investment capabilities, while NorSea Group adds crucial insights and infrastructure in maritime logistics and supply chain management for large-scale offshore operations. Through this integrated expertise, Ventyr is well-equipped to manage the complexities of developing and delivering substantial renewable energy infrastructure. The reference projects, spanning capacities from 165 MW to 376 MW, underscore the consortium's proven track record in deploying advanced wind turbine technology, managing vast offshore areas, and delivering green energy to hundreds of thousands of households. Ventyr is committed to driving innovation and sustainable development, setting new benchmarks for the offshore wind sector in Norway and beyond.
