VERBUND Green Power Iberia is the Spanish subsidiary of VERBUND, a leading Austrian energy company and one of Europe's largest renewable energy producers. The parent group notably generates 98% of its energy from renewable sources and aims to cover 25% of its total generation with photovoltaic and onshore wind energy by 2030.

Since establishing its presence in the Spanish market in 2021, VERBUND Green Power Iberia has solidified its role as a significant producer of renewable electricity. The company is actively involved across the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects in Spain, encompassing initial development, construction, and subsequent operational phases. Its current portfolio includes 710 MW of operational renewable energy capacity, specifically comprising 300 MW from photovoltaic installations and 410 MW from wind farms, alongside 40 MW currently under construction.

Beyond its substantial operational capacity, VERBUND Green Power Iberia is advancing a comprehensive pipeline of projects in various stages of development. The company is also exploring and developing projects in energy storage, hydroelectric power, and green hydrogen, demonstrating a holistic approach to sustainable energy solutions. VERBUND Green Power Iberia is committed to integrating economic, social, and environmental sustainability into all its projects.
