The Climate Council of Australia Ltd is an independent, community-funded organization dedicated to providing authoritative, people-powered climate science. It acts as a courageous catalyst for climate action, working to drive the massive, society-wide change required to end climate pollution and secure a safer, more prosperous future for future generations.

The organization focuses on key areas critical to Australia's energy transition and emissions reduction. This includes growing a bigger, cleaner energy grid to ensure clean, abundant energy; decarbonizing industrial processes by transforming how goods are made; and promoting cleaner, cheaper, and better transport choices. Through its efforts, the Climate Council champions practical climate solutions.

To achieve its objectives, the Climate Council informs and persuades the public and policymakers using evidence-based climate resources such as comprehensive reports, explainers, infographics, communication guides, and media releases. It actively engages communities and individuals to influence change, encouraging participation through donations, workplace giving, philanthropic partnerships, and advocacy campaigns targeting government policies, particularly regarding Australia's climate targets. The Council empowers Australians with the facts needed to understand and address the impacts of climate change, reinforcing its role as a fearless champion of climate solutions.
