IntelliSpatial is a cloud-based geospatial data platform designed to simplify the management, access, and sharing of complex spatial data for large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects. Established in 2020 by Land Surveys, it evolved from an internal solution into a comprehensive platform serving clients across various sectors, including transport, water, power, and road networks. The platform is part of ISGroup, working in conjunction with Land Surveys, Photomapping, and Utility Mapping, providing an integrated approach from data capture to visualization.

The platform centralizes diverse datasets such as point clouds, meshes, BIM models, and design files, making them accessible through a web browser without the need for heavy software installations. It is specifically engineered to handle the extensive and intricate datasets associated with linear assets, leveraging Cesium’s 3D geospatial engine for fast and scalable rendering of detailed 3D models over long corridors. This capability is crucial for managing critical infrastructure within the power systems and energy industry, where precise spatial data and efficient collaboration are paramount.

IntelliSpatial enhances collaboration by offering shared access to reliable data, reducing the necessity for frequent site visits. It allows teams to overlay design files, as-built scans, and 2D base maps, facilitating better decision-making and issue resolution through built-in measurement tools and shareable Points of Interest. A key offering is its advanced tunnel inspection solution, developed in partnership with Dibit. This solution provides a technology-driven workflow for tunnel constructors and operators, encompassing high-speed LiDAR, 3D photogrammetry, and thermal scanning, coupled with AI-assisted crack detection (0.3mm and larger) and engineer validation. The verified data is then published to the IntelliSpatial portal, enabling comprehensive visualization and management of tunnel conditions.

The platform is capture-agnostic, capable of ingesting third-party data alongside data from ISGroup companies or partners like Dibit, offering flexibility as a standalone visualization and collaboration tool. All data is securely stored in the Azure cloud within Australia, aligning with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards, ensuring confidence in compliance and data integrity for critical infrastructure projects.
